Meet The Team
Amanda N. Miller, Esq.
Attorney and Owner
Amanda N. Miller obtained her undergraduate degree in business administration in 1998 from Georgetown University. Amanda graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School in May 2001.
Amanda launched Amanda N. Maurer Miller, PC in November 2023 to focus her practice on comprehensive estate planning, and probate and trust administration. Amanda also practices in the areas of real estate, business formation and business succession planning. Amanda previously practiced law for 17 years with Olszewski, Massih, & Maurer, P.C., had a solo firm from 2004 to 2006, and initially joined Balcomb & Green, PC when she relocated from Washington, DC to Colorado’s Western Slope in July 2001. In addition to her private practice, Amanda served as Municipal Judge for the City of Glenwood Springs and Town of New Castle for 18 years, retiring from municipal court in December 2024. Amanda has offices both Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs to best serve Western Colorado.
Amanda resides in Grand Junction with her husband Randy and stays with her twin sister Jessica when she is working in Glenwood Springs. Amanda’s daughter Ashley recently graduated from the University of Florida and lives and works in the Denver area. Amanda’s son Alex is attending Loyola University Chicago.
Amanda is a Member of the Colorado West Estate Planning Council, Mesa County Bar Association, Ninth Judicial District Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Erika Murillo
Legal Assistant
Erika R. Murillo is a lifetime local of the Western Slope. Prior to 2023, she was blessed to be a full-time mother, raising her son in Silt, Colorado with her fiancé Cody. In 2023, Erika decided to pursue a career in estate planning and probate now that her son is in school.
Erika is a compassionate individual and feels that Amanda N. Maurer Miller, PC is a perfect fit. Working with Amanda has allowed her to pull from her background in hospitality and develop new skills, while aiming to give our clients a sense of peace and security as they make important decisions surrounding their estate plans. Erika is now a skilled legal assistant, assisting Amanda with drafting many of the estate planning documents, deeds and probate pleadings to support our clients. Erika enjoys helping our clients recognize and fulfill their legacy goals.
Diana Adkisson
Paralegal
Diana Adkisson joined Amanda’s practice in 2024, concentrating on business transactions and probate. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2011, and began her career at Deloitte, where she advanced to Audit Assurance Manager.
In 2019, Diana and her husband, Russell, relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley to join their family in expanding a family-owned and operated business. There, she served as Operations Manager and Financial Director, overseeing both business strategy and financial management.
Diana leverages her business expertise and professional financial and accounting experience in the legal field, helping the firm’s clients achieve their life and legacy planning goals, and guiding clients through the probate and trust administration process.
